I just heard this story:

“I was on a demo call with my client and a partner vendor, with the partner vendor SE giving the actual demo. When the SE started talking about their mobile capabilities, I gently interrupted and asked the client if they would use the desktop version or the mobile, or both. The SE interrupted my client before they could answer and said, “Can I answer that question?” and then went on talking about their mobile offering, without even giving the client a chance to respond. 

I was appalled…! And, of course, we didn’t get the order.”

This type of fail has a name – does anyone know what it is called?
